Stereo Express (Chris D´Hoker) was born in Ghent growing up in a family with an artistic background in 1980 in Belgium. Art and the world of sounds influenced his early childhood as well as the rise of trance music in his homeland. At the age of 14 Stereo Express started Djing driven by his interested in New Beat, the European version of American Acid house. This was followed by his own productions in his twenties with a stronger focus on his inspiration found in Motown soul of the 80s and 90s pop. One of his first singles La Vie En Rose released on Atmosphere Records in 2011 led through his international breakthrough in Europe followed by Shadoorack and the Eurythmics cover of Sweet Dreams, released on Shaker Plexx in 2012. After number-one rankings on Beatport his path led to several clubs and festivals such as fusion over Mexico and Montpellier all the way to Russia and Stereo Express decided to move to Berlin to work with AKA AKA among other projects. In the summer of 2014 his debut album Cirque De L´Amour was released on Burlesque Music with the guest musicians Sakso, Timmy Shimmy, Ester Cattoir, Umami and U so Witty.
